A new image management system, and business intelligence software have been unveiled at the annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS 2015; Chicago, USA) Conference.

The new products are part of a portfolio of products supporting a variety of image management solutions and services. The products provide tools enabling healthcare administrators to improve system-wide image access and data analytics in their healthcare institutions.

The two Vitality Solutions products are the VioSuite image management solution, and the Vitality Solutions business intelligence system. The products are made by Vital Images (Minnetonka, MN, USA). The VioSuite solution includes VioArchive that stores and manages all imaging data in an institution, and VioStream that provides access to images in different DICOM archives. The Vitality Solutions products include Vitality IQ Imaging Operations, and Vitrea Vitality Business Intelligence.

Jim Litterer, general manager of Vital Images, said, “With the healthcare landscape changing rapidly and an increased pressure to do more with less, our customers require partners who solve image access demands while optimizing investments in capital equipment. By expanding our portfolio of products, Vital is well-positioned to address the problems associated with enterprise imaging and operational data access.”
