Del Medical (Bloomingdale, IL, USA) has announced the immediate availability and regulatory clearance of its latest radiographic system, the OTC18S.

The new system is the latest addition to the company’s premium 18 Series radiographic systems. The OTC18S features enhanced tracking functionality and fully motorized multi-image stitching capabilities, at an affordable price. It offers the reliability and ease of use of a manual system with auto-centering and tracking and adds specialized tube angle and receptor cabinet motors to automate system positioning during stitching, thus improving the quality of long-length exams.

Some of the features of the OTC18S radiographic system include ceiling mounted tube crane with vertical tracking and manual positioning; motorized automated multi-image stitching functionality with guided setup; 10.4" tube mounted touchscreen interface; vertical and horizontal auto-centering and tracking; automatic collimation; new mobile universal positioning and alignment stand with optional ruler; and multiple X-ray tube and generator power options

“The OTC18S provides important automation for long-length exams, improving their quality, along with popular vertical tracking features, all at an affordable price. It is available now, proudly built in the USA for immediate shipment,” said Mandy Gutierrez, product marketing manager at Del Medical.
