Vieworks Co., Ltd. (Anyang, Korea) presented its latest X-ray detectors and technology at the ECR 2021 virtual exhibition, including its new VIVIX-S V and F series of third generation static detectors with best-in-class features and innovative technology, as well as its Mammo and Dynamic detectors.
The new VIVIX-S V series of DR detectors for general radiography include the VIVIX-S 2530VW, VIVIX-S 3643VW and VIVIX-S 4343VW wireless flat panel detectors for veterinary which provide superior image quality. The detectors use Vieworks’ proprietary AED (Automatic Exposure Detection) technology with reliable performance and provide fast wireless communication (802.11n/ac). Their light weight and built-in handles make the detectors easy to carry and the OLED screen enables easy checking of the status of battery charge level, wired/wireless connection mode, and sleep mode.
Vieworks’ new premium VIVIX-S F series of DR detectors which includes the VIVIX 2530FW, VIVIX 3643FW and VIVIX 4343FW offer the finest image quality through image enhancement with photon-understanding AI solution. The detectors are made of unbreakable glass-free TFT and are IP67 water and dust resistant. With their lighter weight, long lasting battery of 16 hours (2 batteries), convenient charging methods and user-friendly functions, the VIVIX-S F series of DR detectors offer the finest usability.
At ECR 2021, Vieworks also showcased the Photon-understanding Solution Powered by AI, its next generation detector solution. Vieworks has adopted semantic segmentation as the next generation detector solution that uses the deep learning method to segment and classify photon on each pixel from an X-ray image. Some of its applications include anatomy-based dose control, image enhancement and workflow optimization.
